You are a part-time detective who helps out Inspector Thadeus Deprehensio, from the local office, who you affectionately call "Inspector Thad." Together, you will help solve countless cases, some easier than others, some challenging, which will keep your wits sharp, your mind logical, and the world a better place. If you need assistance, just tap the Help button which will reveal all--including the ability to shake this device to start over or to clear your notes grid.
Enjoy solving dozens of mind-blowing cases of varying difficulty--including the 3 cases from the Lite version (iDetectiveLt). Tapping on a case brings you to the main grid. Here, youll see scrollable text that talks about the case and gives clues youll need. Based on these clues, you can circle and cross out possible suspects.
Based on the clues and your grid notes, you enter your hypotheses in the Answer page where clicking on Check lets you see if your answers are correct so far--letting you correct what youve missed.
Your changes are always saved! Should you decide to leave the current case unfinished because you want to work on another case, your answers as well as your grid notes are all saved so you can go back to work on them again at a later time.

I have this app and it is great!! I have no problems with any of the clues. As long as you have patience and work all clues through combining all the information all puzzles are solvable.
Puzzles were fun but the last one has wrong clues. Makes it hard to figure out. Be nice if there were more
Weve gone through all the puzzles and with this version (2.7), theyre all fine. No wrong clues. All correct results.
Aside from being a fun game, we just read logic puzzles like iDetective really help keep your mind sharp because it exercises all areas of the brain.
Love the puzzles! Only one with bad clues so far. the clues in "Liquid Steel" have an error ... Correct answers claim silver goes by ship, but clue says by plane. Still lovin it!
I love this game. The puzzles are clever, well thought out, and interesting. Please update with more cases! I finished all of them.
Some bad moments
I downloaded this and it stopped working. The screen just gies black when I open the app.
After the first few puzzles the top row categories do not appear on the grids. Cant do puzzles like that!
Im revising my rating after playing for a while. So far the puzzles are too easy, at least the ones that can be solved. So far Ive come across 2 puzzles with errors in them. That is SO frustrating! Direct contradictions in the clues and solutions. Ive submitted an error report for one, but Im not sure it did any good.
I like the concept, but hate wasting my time on puzzles that are wrong. Id look elsewhere for a logic game. Im giving 2 stars for the puzzles that can be solved, but thats it.
This is very frustrating with the errors in it. It is an interesting concept but cumbersome to use since you cant see the whole grid at once. But, my biggest complaint is the errors.
So many errors in the puzzles. You spent time on wrong stuff. Very frustrating!! Spend money on an app... You want it to work right.
Great concept but at least 2 puzzles (Tennis & Shuttle) have answers obviously inconsistent with the clues.
